About us

Geneva is built on decades of experience, community connection and a deep respect for Polynesian culture.

Our story began in 1970 in Fiji, where our founder started supplying fabrics at a time when businesses grew through relationships, trust and word of mouth, long before social media existed. Over the years, this commitment to quality and consistency helped Geneva expand beyond Fiji, moving to New Zealand in 1988 and supplying fabrics across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. 

For decades, Geneva worked behind the scenes as a wholesaler fabric supplier, supporting businesses and communities with reliable access to quality fabrics. Many of the stores and organisations in Sydney that sell Polynesian fabrics today were once and still are our clients. This long-standing role has given us deep knowledge of fabrics, sourcing and community needs. 

In 2025, Geneva took a new step forward by opening its doors directly to the community. With our first retail store in Sydney, we now offer fabrics, ready to wear clothing, accessories and custom group solutions directly to customers, while continuing to serve our wholesale customers in Australia.
